Step 1: Locate the Account

  1. Navigate to Cash Management → Accounts → Checking.

  2. On the Checking accounts page, click Edit for the account you wish to link for bank feeds.

Step 2: Activate Bank Feeds

  1. Under the Banking cloud tab, click Connect.
    If the Banking cloud tab is unavailable, follow the steps here.

  2. In the search bar, type in [Bank Name] - Powered by Koxa (subscription required) (Beta) and select it.

  3. Agree to the terms and conditions and click Continue.

  4. If your Bank is labeled as Beta in the search, you will be prompted to enter your six-digit beta testing invite code (shared privately by your Treasure/Onboarding Manager). Click Continue.
    The "Beta" label indicates that the connection between your bank and Sage Intacct has been newly added (in pilot stage) and will be updated upon completion of the pilot. 

Step 3: Activate Bank Connect

  1. Enter the Activation Key you received via email and click Submit to Activate.

  2. Sign in with your credentials to authorize the connection to your bank.

  3. Once signed in and connected to your bank, click Done.

Step 4: Match Account for Bank Feeds

  1. On the Bank Feeds page, select the same account from Step 1 and click OK.

  2. Select the date from which you would like bank feeds to load data and click Continue.

Step 5: Confirm Bank Feeds

  1. Select Confirm to confirm the activation of Bank Feeds. Once the connection is successful, the status will change to Pending. Click Save to save your changes.

To enable additional accounts, you have an option to either:

  1. Return to Step 1 above and repeat the steps for each account.
  2. Wait until the first account status shows as Connected to map all remaining accounts at once using a Financial Institution.

Bank Feed Status

Bank Connect will push the first statement the morning after completing the steps above.

The account's Banking Cloud connection will move to a Pending status. This status indicates that the account has been successful configured, but transactions have not yet been pushed. After these initial transactions are received and posted to the account, the Banking Cloud connection status will automatically update to Connected. A Connected account can now be used with Sage's Financial Institution feature to easily map a large number of bank accounts at once.

The following table outlines the various bank feed status that may appear:

Status Description
Pending confirmation The account is pending user confirmation in Sage Intacct.
Pending The connection is on hold until the bank confirms it.
Connection requested There is no connection and no request has been made.
Connected The account is successfully connected and receiving bank feed data.
Disconnecting The account is in the process of being disconnected. This may take up to 5 business days.
Canceling A pending connection request has been canceled.
