Role Required: Business Central Administrator
Bank Connect uses the KXA Update Statement job queue to automatically import bank transactions and balances into Business Central. If the job queue encounters an error, automated imports may stop until the issue is resolved.
You can view job queue errors on the Bank Connect tile in the Business Central Dashboard.
If your bank data is not importing as expected, follow the troubleshooting steps below to unlock transaction imports and restart the job queue.
Unlock Transaction Imports
If a transaction import fails or becomes interrupted, the import process may remain locked, preventing subsequent imports from running.
To unlock transaction imports:
From the Business Central Dashboard, select the Bank Connect tile labeled Job Queue Errors.
On the Bank Connect Job Error Log page, select Actions > View Transaction Lock.
On the Transaction Import Lock page, select Actions > Unlock Transaction Import.
Select Yes to confirm.
Once the transaction import is unlocked, bank statement imports can resume.
Restart the Automated Import Job Queue
If automated imports have stopped, check the status of the KXA Update Statement job queue entry and restart it if necessary.
Use the global search in Business Central to open Job Queue Entries.
-
Locate the KXA Update Statement job queue entry and review its status:
- Ready: The job is scheduled to run.
- On Hold: The job is paused and must be restarted.
- Error: The job encountered an error and must be restarted after the issue is resolved.
If the job queue status is listed as On Hold or Error, select the KXA Update Statement job queue entry row and click Restart at the top of the page.
