Permissions Required: Finance Administrator
To manage Financial Institutions, Bank Accounts, and/or Payments configurations, you'll need to be a member of the Finance Administrator, Bank Administrator, Settlement Administrator, and/or Implementers security group.
Set Payment Types
Each payment type that will be processed using Bank Connect needs to be configured and mapped to one of the Workday-delivered electronic payment methods.
Using the Workday search bar, navigate to the Maintain Payment Types task.
Add a payment type for each payment type you will be processing via Bank Connect.
These payment types don’t need to include any indication that they’re paid via Bank Connect; this is recommended if you’re using multiple integrations for a single payment type.
